2007 has supplied a seeminglycontinuous stream of challenges for theNorth American polyester sector to dealwith. From record high crude oil andenergy pricing through to corporaterestructuring, investments, divestmentsand closures, the PET packaging andfiber industries have been experiencingalmost constant structural change in theirmarkets.
Through the course of the year, PCI hasbeen monitoring and analysing thesechanges and trends, communicating withclients through regular commercialreports and face-to-face meetings and isputting together the synthesis of currentanalysis and forecasts in the 10th NorthAmerican Seminar on the polyesterchain, to be held on 27-28 February2008 at The Wyndham GreenspointHotel, Houston TX.
