The Fibres & Raw Materials Conference 2010
JW Marriott Hotel, Pacific Place, Hong Kong
3 - 4 Nov
2010
The 2010 conference comes at a crucial time for global fibres and raw materials markets. Stock levels along the production chain have recovered following the sharp reductions of 2008/09.
In addition, the stimulus from government fiscal and monetary policy, even in China, is being reduced. What is left therefore to support further growth in the next couple of years? Can China continue to support the world market for fibre intermediates? Can China maintain high growth at home and for exports? Will other markets in Asia show new strength? Are the western economies yet in a position to grow again? How will the battle for market share play out among the manufactured fibres and between them and the leading natural fibres wool and cotton?
The PCI team, with its detailed market commentary and long-term analysis, will again be gathered in Hong Kong in November, supported by a number of industry presentations from leading participants in the market, from feedstock through to finished product.
A well-structured and extensive 11/2 day programme, involving presentations, informal gathering and extensive networking, covers all the major fibre categories and their raw materials, including acrylic, nylon and polyester, as well as trade and policy issues.
The PCI Consulting Group comprises the largest and most experienced team worldwide for specialised business consultancy in global fibres and their raw materials and this conference provides a timely and cost-effective event for industry participants to meet, interact and discuss important topics with industry colleagues and PCI's consultancy staff.
We hope you will join us in Hong Kong in November 2010.
